Adaptive Work Environment at McKesson
With the company's first large-scale implementation of their AWE program, McKesson Corporation www.mckesson.com has opened new offices for 700 employees in Westminster, Colorado.  The program is being developed through projects involving the company’s McKesson Provider Technologies business unit with locations in Colorado and Georgia.  Overall program development underway includes metrics, engagement strategy, programming tools and solutions sets.  Early indications are that the new AWE work space dramatically increases capacity for collaboration and transparency for the business.

Packard Foundation working on new green headquarters building

EHDD Architecture www.ehdd.com of San Francisco has retained BPS as an advisor on workplace trends and strategies as part of their work with The David and Lucile Packard Foundation www.packard.org .  The Foundation is pursuing a net zero energy building and is studying sustainable aspects relating to the building as well as their organization.

Cisco developing the next generation workplace for engineering BU’s

Long-time BPS client Cisco www.cisco.com is developing their next generation work environment for key engineering business units as part of their San Jose campus expansion.  BPS is advising the project team on change management and communications strategies for this leading-edge effort.  As construction draws toward completion, BPS is working with the Cisco delivery team and also with the end-user clients to address workplace-related change management and communications issues.

UC Merced Modifies Its Long Range Development Plan

Recent Army Corp of Engineers decisions related to seasonal wetlands has led the University of California Merced to undertake a revision of its long term development plan and implementation approach.  BPS is focusing on the programming elements of the update of what will be the 21st century’s first new research university campus.
